About our department
The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2005.This department is gaining increasing importance in all walks of life. The advancements and technological innovations in electronics are felt in area as diverse as commercial communications, medicine and defense. The department places strong emphasis on fundamentals, so that the student is introduced to complex subjects in an interesting and easy manner. The Department imparts technical knowledge in the areas of Semiconductor devices, Electronic circuits, Digital electronics, Communication engg., Television engg and Computer hardware  and  servicing.

The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mahendra Polytechnic College which has a fine blend of renowned as well as young and dynamic personalities as faculty, is involved in providing quality education.

Lab facilities are utilized by students during free hours in addition to regular practical classes. Advanced kits like PLC trainer kits, Digital IC trainer kits, Micro – processor and Micro - controller kits, fiber optic kits etc., are provided to enrich the technical knowledge of the students.

To make the students compete with the current scenario of industrial needs, value based education is given by the department.
# To enhance the hands-on training of the students, various Value added courses are conducted in the following topics with the guidance of Continuing Education cell to compete with latest trends.

# Besides dynamic and relevant academic programmers, frequent industrial visits are arranged to enhance the outstanding caliber of the students.
# To upgrade the technical skills of the students, in-plant trainings are made mandatory during the vacation.
